Kaspa Live Widget
Privacy policy
Effective October 11, 2026. This policy covers the Android app Kaspa Live Widget (package com.kaspa.livewidget), developed by Geek Protocol / GEEKProtocol0110. It is an independent community utility.
Information on your device
The app stores your currency, appearance, chart and refresh choices, public market/network readings and update status on your device. It does not ask for an account, wallet address, seed phrase, private key, contacts, camera, microphone or location. There are no ads, analytics or account profiles in the app.
Public data requests
To refresh, the app connects over HTTPS to public data providers: CoinGecko, Kaspa REST (api.kaspa.org), KuCoin and Gate.io price fallbacks, and public Kaspa node fallbacks at eric.kaspa.stream, john.kaspa.red and noah.kaspa.blue. Requests identify Kaspa, the selected quote currency and public network methods; they do not include a wallet address or account identifier.
Like other internet requests, these services receive your IP address and ordinary connection/request metadata. Providers may keep their own logs under their policies. Geek Protocol does not operate an app analytics server or receive these refresh requests. Opening release notes or this policy in a browser visits an external website, whose policies apply separately.
Retention, backup and deletion
Saved settings and cached readings remain on the device until replaced, cleared through Android’s app storage controls, or removed by uninstalling. Android may include app data in device or cloud backup according to your device and Google backup settings; this app allows Android backup. Manage or remove backups through those system settings. Clearing app storage removes local settings and saved readings, but does not delete independent logs held by public data providers.
Sharing and security
The app does not sell personal information or contain advertising SDKs. Public data requests use HTTPS. Internet and network-state permissions support fetching and checking connectivity. Background refresh runs through Android’s scheduling system and can be delayed by battery or connectivity settings.
Children
This market/network utility is intended for general use, not designed as a children’s service. It has no accounts, chat or user-content features.
Changes and contact
Updates to this policy will appear here with a new effective date. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the Kaspa Live Widget issue page. That page is public: do not post private keys, passwords or personal information.
